Message from the President

As brothers of such a premier developer of principled business leaders, our chapter has been actively bringing forth students from various backgrounds to Loyola University Chicago’s professional world since 1952.

With an urban playground at our hands, our fraternity has proven through community service efforts, professional development, and campus-wide involvement that we strive to push ourselves to the next level.  Alpha Kappa Psi - Gamma Iota Chapter has produced members who’ve proven their commitment to excellence by joining organizations such as Stryker Endoscopy, Google, Deloitte, KPMG, 435 Digital, EY, Disney, Bosch, Zipcar, Hyatt and many more organizations around the country. All of these accomplishments have culminated in us winning Chapter of the Year at our national convention for the 2014-2015 academic school year.  We are connected by more than 120,000 members around the world, and our chapter has been lucky enough to travel and represent at conventions locally and nationally.

I joined the brotherhood in the Fall of 2013, and now, two years later, I lead this group of people that have made a home for me at Loyola.  Since becoming a member, I have gained the professional confidence that is necessary to not only take leadership positions here on campus, but I have become outfitted with the pivotal skills that will carry me into the professional world.  I have gained over 90 brothers that I am proud to call a family here at Loyola, and they constantly push me to become a better student, professional, and friend. I am honored, blessed, and humbled to be apart of this amazing fraternity.

Craig Paulson
Class of 2017

The people you meet will go on to be your closest friends, roommates, study buddies, and everything in between.

Interacting with the most enthusiastic and hard working people on campus pushes you to become your best self.

From the beginning, you will be able to lead within your pledge. As a brother, your leadership skills will turn externally, as you support the surrounding community.
